You can control output which is AC load. By apply DC 5-15V to input of board. In case, you connect board to lamp light. If you want to turn on lamp, On / Off of lamp will be controlled by DC input. just apply 5V to board to turn on the light, Remove 5V to turn off the light.

It works like a mechanic relay, without contacting sound
